Casio launches world's slimmest shockproof digital camera - Exilim EX-G1

Casio Computer Co., Ltd., Has now launched its new EX-G1 digital camera, a shock resistant, water-and dustproof digital camera in a cool design - the first of its new EXILIM ® G series camera. * 1 Per 18th november 2009, based on Casio survey of shockproof cameras (excluding protruding parts).

Casio launched the shock-resistant G-SHOCK ®-watch in 1983. G-SHOCK brand has since been popular worldwide due to its robust design and practical use in harsh conditions, and because of its very distinctive design.

Casio EXILIM brand G-series under the concept of "endurance" which expresses the company's goal of creating cameras that are suitable for elite athletes and adventurers who constantly challenge themselves and their own limits in extreme conditions. The new model is designed to embrace this concept and use of Casio's extensive experience in technologies for shock protection, water tightness and slim-line design.

The EX-G1 will find the shockproof design elements, multiple locations, both inside and outside, while the camera's design is super smart - a functional beauty. Besides the strong basic functions, such as. the 12.1 effective megapixels, the EX-G1 features interval recording. Time-lapse automatically takes still photos or video with set intervals, making it possible to create great shots while you are engaged in an activity.
